EVANGEL FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL
As a local expression of the body of Christ, it is an honor to be spiritually covered by Bishop Houston Miles and Evangel Fellowship International. In January 1994, Living Praise Worship Center became an affiliated church with Evangel Fellowship International (EFI). EFI is dedicated to developing and promoting unity and strength among ministers, Christian leaders, and churches. 'Having EFI as our covering gives us recognition by a body of international leaders who have attested to our integrity, both in a personal and professional manner,' says Apostle Fred Bachman. EFI's Founder and president is Bishop Houston Miles (pictured, left, with his wife Evelyn).
A frequent question is whether we are part of a denomination. The short answer is 'no.' EFI provides us a voluntary committment to be accountable for behavior and beliefs. EFI does not govern local churches, nor does it intrude into the affairs of the local body of believers. EFI offers assistance to local pastors and churches only when requested. EFI provides excellent opportunites for cooperative networking with other churches for conferences, missions outreach, and mutually beneficial events.
Our own Apostle Fred Bachman has served on the Board of Directors of Evangel Fellowship International while appointed EFI Presbyter for the state of South Carolina.

- to ordain and licens ministers who are recommended for membership by a member or by a reputable minister
- to fulfill the Great Commission by engaging in evangelism and the planting of churches worldwide
